At the meeting initiated by the Hon Consuls Association in Bulgaria Ambassador Sekizkök, discussed with the members in a friendly and open matter the situation in Turkey, perspectives and possibilities. Topics ranged from migrant flows, hot subject from the region, as well as the wider relations between Turkey and EU, Russia, China, and Africa.
Bulgaria and Turkey have stable long-term diplomatic relations and growing economic ties. Areas that have potential for growth are energy, food security, IT and telecommunications, production facilities and logistics.
