“Meaningful Meetings” with guest H.E. LUKÁŠ KAUCKÝ, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Bulgaria
The main topics were the priorities set by the Czech Republic in the Presidency of the Council of the EU from July 1. The hot events in the region, the developing conflict in Ukraine, as well as the wider relations between the Czech Republic and the countries of the world were discussed. Bulgaria and the Czech Republic have long-standing positive diplomatic relations and a stable economic relationship. Areas with potential for development are information technology and connectivity, the food and agricultural industry, and the energy sector. In the field of tourism, the Czech people know Bulgaria and visits this year are expected to exceed 300 thousand people, above the pre-pandemic levels.
