Yesterday, September 8, at a solemn ceremony at the Embassy of Hungary in Sofia in the presence of HE Tekla Harangozo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Bulgaria, and Ms. Sandra Mishkedi, Director of the Liszt Institute | Hungarian Cultural Institute Sofia, the state Hungarian award for merits was presented to The Honorary Consul of Hungary in Varna Mr. Yordan Yordanov.
The Honorary Consul of Hungary in Varna Yordan Yordanov received the Knight's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit, a civilian degree in recognition of his work in the development of Hungarian-Bulgarian economic relations, his support for Hungarian culture and consular assistance to Hungarian citizens in trouble in Bulgaria.
